WorldSkills Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that has operated for 25 years. WorldSkills Australia aims to highlight young Australian’s skills excellence through trade competitions. Its vision is to inspire all young Australians to be National skill champions. The aim is to achieve this by conducting school, regional and national skill competitions.
These platforms are unique opportunities to showcase the apprentices, trainees and VET students of Australia who are able to benchmark their talent against the best on Regional, National and International levels.
Earlier this year WorldSkills Australia celebrated the talents of young Australian though our biennial National Competition held in Melbourne at the Exhibition and Convention Centre in May, which attracted over 55,000 public visitors over a 3 day period. This was a National Competition that displayed 453 of Australia’s best apprentices, trainees and VET students compete in 50 trade categories.
